Last Sips of Spring
What's New In Real Estate & Life In New Orleans

Happy May — Just Breathe.
It’s the second weekend of Jazz Fest, and the city is already glowing—half-sunburnt, half-buzzed, and fully Alive.
At the Fairgrounds, an Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small (Jazzfest) Town stands ready with iced Rosemint Tea, while the food scene is truly Something Special: an Even Flow of crawfish bread, oysters on the half shell, cochon de lait, and cold beer wherever you turn.
Be a Better Man—grab a plate for your wife and Daughter.
This is New Orleans at its vibrant, chaotic best. The days stretch long, the humidity rolls in like it’s off the Oceans, and strangers trade cracked Smiles like currency—bonded by sunburns, brass bands, and questionable decisions.
We’re in the Last Kiss of spring before the city slips into its sleepy summer rhythm. Soon enough, we’ll be begging for these days to Come Back.
But these are our Future Days, right here, right now. We’re rolling into May with fresh listings, new projects, and the same sun-dazed optimism that keeps us dancing long after the final guitar riff fades.
Go to The End of the newsletter to find our personally curated mix of Pearl Jam cuts that is sure to get you ready for Jazz Fest this weekend.

WE'RE DRINKINGMint Julep |
Strawberry shortcake at Jazz Fest isn’t just dessert — it’s tradition. Layered with juicy Ponchatoula berries, whipped cream, and buttery shortbread, this sweet, messy masterpiece has earned legendary status over 40+ years at the Fairgrounds. Click here for a loose recipe roadmap! |
No Derby weekend is complete without a mint julep in hand. Traditionally served over a mountain of crushed ice in a silver cup, this refreshing bourbon cocktail is a timeless nod to Southern tradition—and dangerously easy to sip. Our take keeps it classic. |
Office Update

When he’s not closing deals, Aaron is being mobbed by a crowd of four year olds. Huge thanks to Aaron for bringing the trumpet (and the chaos) to Celeste’s class — we’re not sure who had more fun.
