We assisted in brokering the lease for Origami Sushi on Freret Street, acting as both tenant representation and landlord representation on the deal.
Origami Sushi, whose owner was formerly a parter in the Kyoto Restaurant on Prytania St, came into the space after the historic Friar Tucks Bar shut down in 2011. The 4,561 SF space at 5130 Freret St includes indoor and outdoor seating, as well as prime frontage at the Valmont St. intersection. They were one of the first new restaurants to open along the Freret St corridor, helping to spark the Freret Street revitalization.
