ben + burka acted as tenant representatives in the lease of this restaurant space in the Lower Garden District to Blue Giant Nola Chinese food. The Chinese-American restaurant is a new addition to the LGD Restaurant scene, opening in 2019 after a beautiful renovation to the historic structure that we helped to identify.

Offering the city’s finest non-traditional Chinese dining experience, Blue Giant creates dishes that are crafted with care, and always made with local ingredients from South Louisiana. It’s their goal to respect the heritage of Chinese cuisine while remaining passionate about the flavor-packed dishes they love to cook.

We remain good friends with the restaurant’s proprietors Billy and Richard… but even if we didn’t, we would still think this spot has some of the best Chinese food that New Orleans has to offer. We recommend the Dan Dan Noodles, the Peking Duck, or the Crispy Beef (but preferably you’ll try all three.) We are certain you won’t be disappointed.
